Get to know Stetson!

Stetson Mcgahey joins our staff as our new facilities technician! Get to know more about him by reading below!


Where are you from?

Grew up in DFW and have been here all my life mostly. Specifically lived in south Dallas, Mesquite, and Rockwall.



What were you doing before you started working at St. Francis?



I was working for a Coffee company doing the plumbing for their new installations.



What is your favorite dessert?

Gingerbread has to be my favorite.



What are your hobbies?

Golf, watching sports, hosting people over, some video games



If you could have dinner with one person, dead or alive, who would it be?

My grandfather, Louis Ramos, I looked up to him so much. His passing was hard for me. I would love to sit down and tell him all about the things going on in my life.



Who is your favorite saint?

St. Ignatius of Loyola, followed by St. Lawrence



What is your favorite form of prayer?

Quiet reflection prayer, typically adoration or setting outside.

I enjoy the spiritual exercises of St Ignatius


Do you have a favorite quote or bible verse?

What made you want to work for the Church?

I enjoying working around people that share the same beliefs, I also feel like my skills will help the church grow.



What excites you the most about being on staff?

The people I have met and the community here are so nice and understanding. I look forward to growing and helping.
