Where are you from?

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

What were you doing before you started working at St. Francis?

My past 3 years were spent with the wonderful Divine Grace Parish in Cranberry, Pennsylvania.

What is your favorite dessert?

Other than all of them, I would say a good donut is the best!

What are your hobbies?

I spend countless hours listening to recordings which seems to take up most days. I also enjoy weightlifting and long walks with my dog, and choir mascot, Dietrich.

If you could have dinner with one person, dead or alive, who would it be?

My first thought is always John Denver. His music resonates so deeply with me.

Who is your favorite saint?

I would say Saint Paul, also my confirmation name.

What is your favorite form of prayer?

Always through music. It's all-consuming and puts so many aspects of life into perspective.

Do you have a favorite quote or bible verse?

John 13:34-35. "I give you a new commandment: love one another. As I have loved you, so you also should love one another.

This is how all will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

What made you want to work for the Church?

I was introduced to playing in the church by my first trumpet teacher, Mike Cenna, and through those many years I became more interested and involved in the Mass. Eventually, I began to play as an organist on the weekends and transitioned to a music director, at the same Parish I first played with Mike.

What excites you the most about being on staff?

The opportunity to share sacred music with the faithful. It is always a privilege to serve with wonderful people!
