🌟 Three Things for Your Weekend 🌟

1️⃣ February Revival Night
Please join us on Wednesday, February 5 for our monthly Eucharistic Revival Adoration Night. Our format for the night includes one hour of praise and worship and Adoration on the first Wednesday of each month in the church at 7:15pm. Please join us in spending time with our Lord.

2️⃣ Preschool Registration is Open!
Registration for the 2025-26 school year is now open! If you have a child between the ages of 2 and 5, we would love to meet you. Learn more about our program by visiting our website. If you have any questions, give us a call at 972.712.1657 or come by the Education Wing any Thursday in February at 10am for a tour of our school. We’d love for you to join our preschool family! 3️⃣ Altar Server Training
We need altar servers! As an altar server you have the opportunity to assist the priest and deacon at the altar. It is a wonderful way to participate and learn more about what happens at the Mass. We will have trainings for English and Spanish on Saturday February 8th in the church. If are already and altar server and would like to be a captain or would like to renew your training, we encourage you to attend also. Please attend a one-hour training session on Saturday, February 8th in the church (9:00 am, 10:00 am 11:00 am). Every session will include English, Spanish and captain training.

More than 40 St. Francis youth, their families, and Respect Life ministry members attended this year’s NTX Rally For Life and Pro-Life Mass at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Dallas on Saturday. They gathered with fellow Catholics from across the diocese to champion the sanctity of life in the womb; hear a powerful message from Bishop Burns about speaking the truth in love; and witness courageous testimony from post-abortive women and former abortion clinic workers whose hearts were healed and restored by the redeeming power of God’s mercy.

Today we celebrate the Epiphany of the Lord!

Each year on January 6 (moved to the nearest Sunday in most diocese), we celebrate the feast of the Epiphany, also known as Three Kings Day. Epiphany is a holy day that celebrates the revelation of Jesus to three Wise Men (or Kings) when they arrived at His place of birth after following the unusual star in the sky. Often, we picture the Wise Men arriving on Christmas night and gathering around the manger of the newborn Jesus along with the shepherds, but in fact they arrived perhaps as much as two years later, which is why Epiphany is celebrated 12 days after Christmas. Although it is often neglected, Epiphany is a day with a long history and many beautiful traditions.
