Youth
First Communion
for 6th-7th graders
*If your teen has already graduated from high school or has not received the Sacrament of Baptism,
please contact our OCIA program.
What to Expect...

Register for Sunday Youth Night
If you'd like for your teen to prepare to receive their First Communion, start by signing them up for Youth Night. All teens preparing for Sacraments MUST register for our weekly Sunday nights.
*Middle School sessions are from 5:45-7pm.

*Note: This session is for both Confirmation and First Communion parents.

Starting Milestone Preparation
The first milestone will prompt the steps to begin their First Communion preparation. Please note that teens have NOT begun their preparation for First Communion until the first milestone is complete.

Continuing Milestone Preparation
After completing the first milestone, teens will complete a series of 6 Milestones at home with the support and engagement of their parents, while continuing to attend weekly Youth Nights. Teens are able to journey their Milestones at their own pace.

During Milestone Preparation
When teens reach Milestone 4, they will be prompted to go receive their First Reconciliation/Confession. Teens MUST receive Confession before continuing onto the next milestone.

Receiving First Communion
When a teen has completed their Milestone journey, they will be eligible to receive their First Communion at the next available Mass (Spring and Fall dates available).
