St. Francis of Assisi partners with Catholic Charities of Dallas to help alleviate hunger within our Diocese by participating in the Food Partner Program, via a food cart in the Great Hall to receive non-perishable food donations, used to help Catholic Charities ongoing food efforts. On the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month CCD brings food that is distributed by volunteers from the St. Francis Mobile Food Pantry Ministry to families experiencing hardship.
The Divorce Support Group is open to people of any faith denomination. Meetings are structured but conducted in an open, informal atmosphere. Understanding the personal nature of this situation, a vow of confidentiality is required from all who attend.

ROGERS ELEMENTARY
St. Francis of Assisi and Frisco ISD have established a community-school partnership geared toward supporting Rogers Elementary. Rogers, a Title 1 school, is one of the oldest elementary schools in Frisco and the closest school neighbor to St. Francis. FISD approached St. Francis with the idea of a partnership to help provide positive role models for students and help for teachers who are working to support a diverse student population.
