Campamento de verano Georgia $920 ¿Quién? Estudiantes entrantes de 6° grado a estudiantes salientes de 12° grado ¿Qué? Camp Hidden Lake y Camp Covecrest son más que un centro de retiro y un campamento de verano. Covecrest es una comunidad de católicos comprometidos con la transformación de los adolescentes, la transformación de las parroquias y la transformación de la cultura. ¡Mientras estamos en el campamento, los misioneros de Hidden Lake y Covecrest están allí para facilitar nuestra experiencia de campamento y caminar junto a nuestra parroquia! ​ Durante el campamento, los adolescentes tendrán la oportunidad de participar en actividades típicas del campamento, como tirolesa, cuerdas altas, artes + manualidades, blob, pozo de barro, ¡y mucho más! Junto con las actividades del campamento, los misioneros del campamento estarán allí para guiarnos en momentos de oración y participación en los sacramentos, como la misa y la confesión. ¡Eche un vistazo al video0 vinculado a continuación para ver cómo se ve esto! ​ Transporte: Nuestro grupo volará desde el aeropuerto de Dallas Lovefield al aeropuerto internacional de Atlanta. ¡Desde allí, nuestro grupo será transportado en un autobús chárter a nuestros campamentos durante la semana! La escuela secundaria se dejará en Camp Hidden Lake. La escuela secundaria luego será llevada a Camp Covecrest. There are two separate obligations that must be fulfilled for the Fourth Sunday of Advent (Sunday, December 24) and Christmas (Monday, December 25). The Sunday obligation can be fulfilled by attending Mass on Saturday evening (Dec. 23) or on Sunday (Dec. 24). The Christmas obligation can be fulfilled by attending Mass on Sunday evening or anytime on Monday (December 25). Since its founding in 2009, NTX Giving Day has inspired people to get up and give, resulting in increased donations and services provided in North Texas. Last year, you helped us surpass our goal and raise over $35,000 with the goal of using the funds to improve our discipleship and community experience. We have begun the process of using these funds to build a coffee shop area in the Great Hall Foyer. But to continue these efforts, we are going to need your help! This year, we have updated our goal to $100,000 ! Our Mission Statement of Matthew 28 highlights the importance of building community and forming disciples. The funds we raise during North Texas Giving Day will help us do exactly that! The funds will contribute to renovating the Great Hall Foyer into a community and discipleship space complete with a coffee shop. The funds will also benefit our youth program. Dollar-for-dollar matching funds are a great way to inspire people to give and to help us reach our goal on NTX Giving Day.
