What were you doing before you started working at St. Francis?

I was a consultant freelancing

. Prior to that, I worked many years in Human Resources for the World Bank and a large healthcare organization as Manager of Diversity Recruitment as well as helping military families (spouses) with online training for healthcare entry level careers.

What is your favorite dessert?

I love anything BREAD! There is nothing like sharing a great cup of coffee and bread with family or friend.

What are your hobbies?

I like to listen to music, dance (

although I did more of this in my younger years), read, bake. I love to eat so trying new foods is exciting to me.

Nelson Mandela

Who is your favorite saint?

Mother Teresa and Saint Francis.

What is your favorite form of prayer?

I am learning to sit and contemplate the Blessed Sacrament (I must say that freeing up my brain from any noise is a challenge). I have attended the "Taller de Oración y Vida" and have learned to see my faith on a deeper level.

Do you have a favorite quote or bible verse?

Not yet.

What made you want to work for the Church?

Knowing that whatever it is that I do - helps others - is something that truly fulfills my heart. Being part of something bigger and for the greater good has always been a big part of my decisions. I want to learn more about my Catholic faith and be able to effectively share that with my family.

What excites you the most about being on staff?

I believe that God has put me here for a reason. I am so very grateful for this blessing. I hope to bring value to the team and the Church. Getting to know the wonderful colleagues that are also here has been wonderful and I look forward to considering many as friends and family. I know that I am in for quite a journey. It is a journey that I look forward to with an open heart.
