Food Booths
We are asking every ministry sign up for a food booth, you may team up with another ministry if volunteer size is an issue.
All ministries will be responsible for their own food supply, which is enough food to feed at least 7,000 people. All proceeds will benefit the Church, and all ministries will be able to advertise at their own booth. To comply with state law, all ministries that handle food must have a certificate. We will be hosting a food handler & food service manager certification course at St. Francis, there is also an online option for those who cannot attend the class. Food Booth options are as listed below. |
Food Certification
Let’s keep St. Francis clean & safe! Dependent on your ministry needs you may need a Food Handlers certificate or a Food Managers Certificate.
A reason you will need a Food Handler Certificate - You will be handling food during the event.
A reason you will need a Food Service Manager Certificate - Per state requirements a certified Food Service Manager needs to be on-site during the event. Volunteers will not need a Service Manager Certificate for the Fall Festival, but this certificate will be needed if your ministry utilizing the kitchen for any ministry event. At least one person in your ministry will need a Service Manager onsite during ministry event.
If you have any further questions pertaining to what requirements you may need please contact our Facilities Director, Donnie Floyd . If you have any issues with the online form please feel free to reach out to our Communications Coordinator, Candace Bermender.
