We are Joyfully All In at St. Francis. Our Commitment Sunday this year reflects on how we all commit as a parish family. As a growing parish we Joyfully Come Together and commit to our Church. Please take the time to commit and prayerfully consider an annual commitment to our parish. We ask that you still fill out a commitment card, even if you choose to not make a change in your offering.

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ,
In the second letter to the Corinthians, St. Paul marvels at the fact that Our Lord Jesus Christ has held nothing back from us so that we might experience the fullness of His blessings. St. Paul writes: “For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich.” Talk about commitment! God has given everything to us. Everything that we have is but a gift from His gracious hands! Being a good steward means recognizing God’s blessings in our lives and returning to Him a portion of what He has so generously given to us. God is committed to us and in response we say to Him, “Lord, count on me. I want to be committed to you also. I want to be “Joyfully All In.” One of the fundamental ways that we show God that we are joyfully all in is through our weekly offertory gift to Him. We want our gift of treasure to truly honor God. And, we as Christians give not because there is a need-although it is true that our growing and thriving parish has many needs. We give because we need to give. We give because we remember that people are more important than things and that the most important person in our life is God. We give because we want to be good stewards, so that we come to realize our material goods are a means to an end, and not the end itself. We give because “through His poverty we have become rich.” My invitation to us as a people of faith is that we show God how grateful we are by prayerfully considering committing to Him at least a 5% tithe on our gross annual income towards the weekly offertory contribution at St. Francis. I want to thank you our parishioners for your unfailing generosity and for considering this request. You show by word and example that you are joyfully all in! We are blessed with a growing and thriving parish that could not do all the good work of evangelization and making missionary disciples without your kind and generous support. May the floodgates of God’s grace open up for you as you honor Him with your commitment. In Christ, Fr. Rudy Garcia Pastor |

WORSHIP
Liturgical items are needed for Masses, Funerals, Baptisms, and Weddings. As part of the effort to enhance the Sunday worship experience, additional and varied sacred music will be part of our enhanced Sunday experience |
FAITH
As Christian Disciples, we share the Gospel and a Christian way of living in our Faith Formation and Adult Education programs. We also follow the call by ministering to the sick and homebound in the surrounding areas of the parish, and support fellowship programs promoting active Christian relationships with the Community. In building up the Body of Christ, we promote parishioner involvement in nearly 100 parish ministries. |
ADMINISTRATION
As stewards of God’s gifts, we maintain and care for the Church and Chapel, Parish Hall, and site grounds. We are also working hard, with your help, to reduce the debt for the loan that helped pay for the church and chapel. We must also fund the salaries and professional development of the current parish staff, as well as pay “just-wage” salaries and professional development for the parish staff needed for parish operations. |
GROWTH
As the only Catholic parish in Frisco, we mirror the city’s growth and, accordingly, must plan for expanded facilities needed for our ever-growing Catholic community. This rapid growth also affects every aspect of our parish mission. |
