Equipment 
There are multiple ways to use the Interactive Display for your session.
You can use an HDMI cable, USB, open via the browser and you can insert a DVD. Watch videos below to learn about connections.

HDMI cord 

We recommend High Speed HDMI cord hook up - if you are using an HDMI cord and it does not display, it could possibly be your cord or internal settings on your laptop. This allows you to present what is on your laptop to the Screen. In your Connections Settings, select HDMI 1 Front

Instead of bringing your laptop you can easily insert a USB drive and open files via File Viewer.
​
1. Insert your drive into USB 2.0 slots. 
2. Select the Home Button on the side of the screen. 
3. Go to file Viewer. 
4. Select USB storage
5. Open files

Connection - HDMI Rear 1 
 DVD players are located left of screens. 
To turn on pull on cable or use remote (located back of display)

To open - Select the small square button on bottom of player.

1. Go to connections or Click on the House icon. 
2. Go to connections 
3. Select HDMI Rear 
4. Grab remote back of digital display. 
5. Select Menu - go to desired time/chapter

Remotes 
All Displays are equipped with a DVD Remote and Newline Remote. Please place Remotes back in their proper location once you have completed your session.

Remote Location 
The DVD Player and Newline Remotes are located to the back of the Newline Interactive Display on the right side. 

Please place the remote back when you are finished for the next user.

DVD Player Remote 
The DVD player Remote is the slim white remote. If you turn on the DVD you can use this remote and select MENU to review chapters. 

Do NOT use the volume on the DVD remote, these volume keys control the DVD sound, and not the Interactive Display.

Newline Interactive Display Remote
This remote gives you the ability to work the Newline Interactive Display, so you don't have to touch. You can raise the volume, return to the home screen, take a screenshot, change HDMI output settings. 

Please place all remotes in the back of the display once you are finished.

White Board App & Browser Part One ​
This video focuses on the whiteboard app that is on every screen along with opening up a browser tab. 
Browser Part Two
This video highlights the browser App and simple ways to utilize the app. 
Using a USB Drive

This video shows how to insert your USB Drive and review your files through the app file viewer.
Connections and Android Keyboard
This video continues to describe some of the differences including the keyboard on the Android Side along with the Output selections in the front of the Display.
Difference between Newline &  Android Computer 
All of our Interactive Displays come equipped with an Android Computer. That allows us to install apps from Google Play and customize our screens for our needs. You can still use the Newline computer for browser, file viewer and all the same gadgets. 
PLAying a DVD
Located - The DVD player is directly to the left of the screen.

Turn On - To turn on you can either pull the plug or use the white remote control that is attached to the back of the interactive display.

To Open - Press the small square button that is located at the bottom of the player to open. 

Remote - Use the white remote to select a certain chapter or for menu options. The remote is located on the back of the interactive display.
Turning on Display and Android Navigation
This video shows you how to turn on and some simple functionality. 
LogOut REminder
This video is a reminder to always logout and place things back once you are finished with the Interactive Display

Android Navigation Tool

The navigation tool always stays on the Android Computer Display. 
This is a way you can tell you are in the Android Computer setting. 

White circle  You can tap on the white circle to minimize the navigation, you can press and move around your screen. 

The Grid lets you go directly to the Apps/Gadgets. 

Sideways Triangle is the back button. 

The clear circle is to go back to Home Screen

The multiple Squares is to exit out of screens.
