Blessed Pope John Paul II announced a revised version of
the Roman Missal during the Jubilee Year 2000. The English translation of the
Roman Missal includes updated translations of existing prayers, including some
of the well-known responses and acclamations of the people. All English speaking
countries around the world will began using these texts on the First Sunday of
Advent, 2011.
