AIDS Supper Club
Scheduled the first Sunday of each month, the Supper Club is always in need of people to cook part of the meal and for people who would like to serve the meal and visit with residents of a Special Care Facility for people living with HIV/AIDS.

Angel Tree Program
This Christmas
time program offers Christmas gifts to families who would not normally be able
to afford gifts. There are many helpers needed in addition to those purchasing
gifts. Angel Wishes for 2008 will be available for adoption November 22-December
6th.

The Caregiver Support Group provides
information, education, resources within the community, and
support/affirmation/universality for those living with or knowing of a person
with dementia.

Catholic Addictions Ministry (CAM)
Catholic Addiction Ministry
(CAM) was established in 1984 to minister to those in our Community who suffer
the devastating effects of Addictions. CAM serves not only the person with the
addiction problems, but also their families, friends and faith community. We
deal with the common addictions of alcohol and drugs, as well as any other
addictions, shelters for women and children. If you have a concern in whatever
the addiction may be please call.

Clothe A Child
Provides Frisco area needy children with a shopping trip to Kohl’s for back to school clothing. Volunteers and monetary donations are needed.

Divorce Ministry
A support group for Divorced and Separated will begin at
St. Francis on Wednesday June 9th and continue for seven weeks through July
21st. The meetings will be at 7:00 PM in Room D. The sessions will be based on
the book Divorce and Beyond and will be facilitated by Deacon Gregg Kahrs.

Grief Ministry

Handyman Program
Spreading God’s message by helping our neighbors, the program repairs/improves the homes of people in need and does special church projects. Meet on the last Saturday of each month.

Society of St. Vincent de Paul
SVdP provides financial and spiritual assistance to local poor and needy.
Vincentians travel in pairs to visit clients in their homes or apartments. We
asses the client's needs and help in many different ways, and we are dependent
upon volunteers and financial resources. Meets weekly at St. Francis, but
members are not expected to attend each meeting. Many volunteers help behind the
scenes.

Your SVdP Conference
Needs You Now!
We are in immediate need of a chairperson
for our Fundraising Committee, and a chairperson for our Family
Resources committee . . . plus we need more committee members! Can you
spare a few hours a month to work with one of the most fulfilling
ministries at St. Francis? We need people who can direct our committees
and others who can work behind the scenes in admin capacities. You'll be
part of a growing ministry with people who are committed to serving the
needy and poor in our community. In 2009, operating only the last two
months of the year, we assisted 17 families! The need is tremendous. The
people we help our members of our own community -- they may be sitting
behind you or in front of you in church. All information is
confidential. Without our committees, however, we cannot meet the needs
