Msgr. Larry Pichard - Pastor

Msgr. Pichard was born in San Antonio, TX on August 7, 1947; attended Our Lady of Perpetual Help and St. Pius X grade schools; and graduated from Bishop Dunne High School.  He entered Holy Trinity Seminary in 1966 and was ordained to the Priesthood for Diocese of Dallas on May 5, 1973. Msgr. Pichard served as Parochial Vicar at St. Mark, Plano; and Immaculate Conception, Grand Prairie; and as Pastor at St. John Nepomucene, Ennis; Cathedral Guadalupe, Dallas; and St. Pius X, Dallas.

Msgr. Pichard holds the Master of Divinity degree from the University of Dallas and earned the Masters of Liturgical Arts from the Catholic University of America in 1980.  Following the completion of his graduate studies he served for 6 years as Vice Rector of Holy Trinity Seminary in Irving where he also taught Sacramental Ministry to seminarians.  He has served on the Diocesan Liturgical Commission, Consultors of Pastors, Diocesan Building Commission, Priests Continuing Education Committee, and Presbyteral Council.  He is fluent in Spanish.
