"Give your servant an understanding heart to judge your people and to distinguish right from wrong."

"Solomon asked for an understanding heart. This is wisdom: the grace of being able to see everything with the eyes of God. It is simply this: Seeing the world, situations, conjunctures, problems, everything with God's eyes. Obviously this gift comes from intimacy with God: from our intimate relationship with God."

-Pope Francis
