Deacon Gregg Kahrs

Deacon Gregg and his wife, Deborah, joined St. Francis of Assisi parish in July of 2006 after his ordination to the diaconate.  They previously attended St. Elizabeth Ann Seton in Plano. In 1967 Gregg graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelors Degree in Accounting and began a 39 year career at Sears.   In May of 2006 Gregg retired from Sears as Director of Financial Services.  Gregg has four children; Stephanie, Brent, Brian, and Mary, and six grandchildren.  He currently works as the Parish Manager of St. Mark the Evangelist Church in Plano.  Gregg and Deborah share a passion for RCIA and Marriage Ministry.  Gregg is also an avid reader and golfer.  He is also furthering his education by pursuing a Master Degree in Theology at the University of Dallas.
