Deacon Carl Macero

Deacon Carl and his wife, Barbara, relocated to Plano, TX in 1980 from New York with their two children, Carl Jr. and Patricia Ann. Carl and Barbara then relocated to Charlotte, NC in 1996 returning to Plano in 2004 after retiring. For most of his career, Carl was a reinsurance underwriter and manager for Swiss Re and Transamerica Re. Ordained to the Diaconate in January of 1992, Carl has been assigned to Prince of Peace in Plano, St. Thomas Aquinas in Charlotte and to St. Francis of Assisi since 2004. He has a Liberal Arts degree from St. John's University in N. Y., a MBA from Boston College in Chestnut Hill, MA and is currently working on a Masters in Theological Studies at the University of Dallas.
